Yo Yo Flamingo is a special team specialist for the Wild Mavericks with an extreme passion for yo-yos.
Prior to Mickey Mouse Athletics, the free spirited pink flamingo played the lead in the animated short Carnival of the Animals, Finale featured in Fantasia 2000. He shares no similarities in color nor in interests when compared to his uniform peers.
Carnival of the Animals
The setting commenced with flamingos waking up and starting to swim. In his own little world, Yo Yo was left behind playing with his Yo-Yo.
Much to his aversion, the other Flamingos find him, stop his playing and make him practice along side them.
Then while being forced to practice with them, he managed to play with his Yo-Yo too. The snooty flamingos catch him and a wild chase begins that results in them getting stuck in a log. While they were stuck Yo Yo plays with his toy.
The other flamingos rise from the water and drown Yo Yo. While he's under water, they throw his toy Yo-Yo into a tree. Yo Yo then ties the other flamingos up with random Yo-Yo strings. He then rises from the water and reveals he has hundreds of Yo-Yos. Yo Yo prevails and the short ends.
